Timmendorfer Strand is the beachside location on the Bay of Lübeck with the biggest stage. The Sea Bridge, the white sand, the curated promenade, the quiet poise with which the town sets itself apart from louder Travemünde. People who come here aren't after the wild sea, but the calm premium experience by the beach.
Our house on Höppnerweg sits in the front row. Seven units under one roof: two apartments on the ground floor, two on the first floor, a penthouse, and for larger groups the whole floor as a bundle. The beach is a short walk, the apartments are modern, each with its own kitchen.
What sets Timmendorf apart from other Baltic spots is the calm. There's no loud scramble for guests here. The town builds on returning guests, on regulars, on families who've spent the same week here every summer for decades. The restaurants are a touch more ambitious, the ice cream a little pricier, the pace a little slower.
Our apartments fit that atmosphere. Modern, furnished with care, with kitchen and living room, without hotel formality. You walk to the beach in the morning, come back in the afternoon, cook something simple, sit outside in the evening and listen to the gulls.

Beach and Sea Bridge
The main beach with the glass Sea Bridge is the postcard shot. The bridge itself is a good sunset spot.
Niendorf on foot
From Höppnerweg you walk to Niendorf along the beach in 20 minutes. Small harbour, a few good fish stalls, quieter than central Timmendorf.
Sea Life Timmendorf
A maritime experience right on the Strandallee. A solid option with kids when the weather doesn't play along.
Timmendorf weekly market
Wednesday and Saturday at the Rathausmarkt. Local producers, fresh fish, cheese, bread.
Lübeck and Travemünde as day trips
25-30 minutes by car to central Lübeck, 15 minutes to Travemünde. Both add city culture to your beach stay.

- How far is the apartment from the beach?
- About two to three minutes on foot. Höppnerweg sits in the front row behind the Strandallee.
- Are the apartments suitable for families?
- Yes. The single units sleep 4-6 people, the whole floors up to 10. Several apartments have a sofa bed in addition to the bedrooms, which works well for families with children.
- When did the Höppnerweg apartments join?
- They've been in our portfolio since May 2026. We took over the house, refurnished it, and brought it up to the HejU standard. Current photos to follow shortly.
- Can I book a whole floor?
- Yes, that's what the two bundle listings are for. Travelling with eight to ten people? Book the entire ground floor or first floor. That way you have a whole floor to yourselves.
